Our property is situated in Oldbury ( SEE MAP ) which is approximately 15 minutes south of Armadale, giving us the advantage of close proximity for short term spelling, easy progress checks by trainers/owners for long term spellers, easy access for metro clients to visit their foals, broodmares or spelling horses.
(Of course, making a phone call to let us know you would like to visit would be much appreciated.)

Agistment services are available to:

  • resident broodmares
  • seasonal broodmares
  • weanlings and yearlings
  • spelling racehorses
  • colts & entires – limited intake
  • short term let-ups for racehorses- limited intake

Additional services include:

  • foaling down (under alarm, individual floodlit foaling paddocks, constantly monitored - mares & foals boxed in bad weather)
  • we manage specific foaling problems – like mares that have foals which are at risk for neonatal isoerylthrolysis (ni) – always very manageable when appropriately handled and always under veterinary advice and attention as required.
  • weaning
  • halter-breaking
  • yearling preparation – limited intake.
  • Van serving- walking out client mares to stallions standing at studs located within a 180 -200 kilometer radius from Perth. This service has proven popular with breeders and we have achieved a very high “in-foal” success rate. All booked covers are organized and attended personally by Rene’ or Trish.

  • Care for sick or injured thoroughbreds requiring specific attention for recuperation or healing, using veterinary advice and attention as required.

Please note that we do have a limit on the numbers we take on. Our property is prime grazing land and in keeping with its preservation we are careful not to overstock.
All horses are given two hard feeds a day plus export quality wheaten hay as required. All grain is fresh gristed daily. Not only is this necessary to maintain optimum nutritional value of grain but it is far more digestible to the horse. (We prefer to feed our horses, not our local cockY band.) 
Most of our paddocks have galvanized round pipe fencing which we find extremely safe.
As an extra safety feature, we have added an electric wire just below the top rail.

QUANAH PARK PAYMENT TERMS ARE PAYMENT WITHIN 14 DAYS OF INVOICE.
IF THE INVOICE IS NOT PAID WITHIN THE CURRENT 30 DAYS, A FRIENDLY REMINDER WILL APPEAR ON YOUR NEXT ACCOUNT.
IF THE ACCOUNT FALLS INTO 60 DAYS, A PAYMENT DEMAND WILL BE FORWARDED TO YOU.
IF THE DEMAND FOR PAYMENT IS NOT RESOLVED 14 DAYS AFTER SERVING, PROCEEDINGS FOR SMALL CLAIMS WILL BE INITIATED.
IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED IF CLIENTS WOULD ARRANGE TO PAY THEIR ACCOUNTS ON OR PRIOR TO THE DEPARTURE OF THEIR HORSE/S.
