Quanah Park is very pleased for the Queensland owners of two-year-old colt Iron Jacket (aka Jake) by Flying Pegasus out of our 100% winner producer Great Shack (by At Talaq). He didn't let the side down at his first ever race start when he brained the opposition in a canter by leading from start to finish and running his last 600 metres in just over 33.5 seconds. Passed in at the 2012 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale and sold privately, trainer Stuart Kendrick has a very high opinion of Jake. Shacky deserves a black-typer - it might be Iron Jacket and may be her classy 2yo gelding by Danasinga.

Quanah Park is very proud to be able to claim a 100% acceptance rate for the upcoming February 2014 Magic Millions Premier yearling sale. We presented nine well-grown correct youngsters from quality running families for inspection with all applicants successful!!! We are working hard towards optimum presentation to the buyers at our Perth sales.

Our 4yo Dash For Cash gelding BACK PAY showed guts and determination to defeat the Fastnet Rock gelding Authentic Style at Pinjarra on the 5th December. We have huge admiration for BP who overcomes soundness issues with his wonderful heart and great attitude to racing.

Uma Galina and Flying Pegasus combined to produce our very talented 3yo gelding in LOUIE CAN FLY. Apparently a horse with a 'rare' length of stride our syndicate is being patient and he is spelling so that he can mature. He had his problems in his first prep but watch out for him when he returns.

Quanah Park was very fortunate when we purchased the handy racemare RUBIDERE in foal to Blackfriars, from Durham Lodge. We continued to patronize Blackfriars and we have a yearling filly in the 2014 sales that is quite special. Already far more substantial than her mother or older brother ROADSINGER she fills the eye and heart with hope. A very classy and superior type we look forward to presenting her for sale.

Our purchase from Durham (now Scenic) Lodge of a quality Hurricane Sky colt out of Universal Ruler's half sister Newton Bewley, (by Blackfriars) has been named Veritasium. A lot has happened in that family since then. Half brother Newton Prince is now a stakeswinner and half sister Miss Radler has won a midweek. The last foal from Newton Bewley, we know Neville Parnham will give Veritasium every opportunity to emulate his half brother's feats.

Look out for the striking bay three year old filly by Lynward Park sire Balmont (USA) out of the quality mare Not Affected (NZ) (by Elnadim). Now named SOMETHINABOUTDAISY she showed amazing professionalism at her first race start at Pinjarra to overcome a bad barrier, extreme heat and being hampered for clear running in the straight to run a very strong fast finishing fifth. Yep - there sure is something about Daisy!.

Always on the lookout for quality additions to our small broodmare band we recently pruchased a super Rubiton mare, the multiple race winner I LOVE RUBIES, which is in foal to one of the leading second season sires in SEBRING. I Love Rubies is from a wonderfully successful black type family - we guess she needed to be or she would have not been successfully accepted against the hundreds of applications for Sebring's 2013 book.

Another acquisition by Quanah Park is the young beautifully bred Rock Of Gibraltar mare SHARMANE which is out of the Group winner and stakes producer Princess D'Or. Her first foal will be by the magnificent stallion WRITTEN TYCOON, a proven sire with great stats!

We hope you enjoy our website – it has some very innovative features. It was compiled by our good friend and computing type, Ian McAllister, whose patience has no boundaries. Ian, a horse breeder and owner of many years standing (yes, definitely a patient man!) does not divulge this OTHER talent to many..............perhaps he should.
